Tina Moran, LISW-S, is a Licensed Independent Social Worker who has worked across a variety of clinical settings since earning her Master’s degree in 2010. In 2019, she established her private practice, Tina Moran LLC, where she works with adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, depression, and substance use disorders.
Tina is especially passionate about helping individuals move through guilt, shame, and self-esteem issues—core challenges that often underlie destructive behaviors and recurring patterns. Drawing on the work of Brené Brown, she incorporates shame resilience practices to help clients understand these emotions and begin to heal. This process can be emotionally intensive, but for those who feel “stuck” or who haven’t found lasting results through other treatments, it’s often the key to real, lasting change.
In sessions, Tina integrates skills from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients build distress tolerance, regulate emotions, and improve communication. She enjoys working with couples to strengthen empathy, validation, and mutual understanding—often the foundation for resolving deeper conflict. Tina is passionate about teaching coping tools and strategies, aiming to empower clients to become more confident, capable, and aligned with the lives they want to live.
Her background in outpatient and residential treatment has given her experience with a wide range of complex cases, including family dynamics, case management, and various forms of therapy. Tina blends empathy, warmth, and a sense of humor to create a supportive environment where clients feel safe, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives.
