The goal of psychoeducational classes is to empower individuals with knowledge and skills to improve their mental health and quality of life. Some types of psychoeducational classes and topics include stress, anger, anxiety, and/or depression management, self-esteem building, relationship skills, parenting skills, substance abuse education, coping with trauma, and developing life skills. Appealing to executive and senior management as well as senior professionals, Wellness Place offers high-level, confidential consulting, coaching, and problem-solving services to help upper-tier managers deal with a complex array of business challenges. Wellness Place professionals bring a rich combination of experiences that support senior professionals in strategically managing corporate stressors such as leadership development, emotional intelligence and team dynamics.

Clinical Supervision is provided for Licensed Professional Counselors (LPC) and Licensed Professional Clinical Counselors (LPCC) in Ohio. Three types of supervision are offered by Wellness Place professionals: Individual, Group and Supervision endorsement (LPCC-S). Individual supervision provides a safe space to ask questions, receive feedback, and explore topics to further your professional development. Group supervision offers participants an opportunity to collaborate with peers and learn from one another’s insights and perspectives. Supervision endorsement applies to Ohio LPCCs seeking supervision endorsement. Typical supervision involves 5 hours of observation and 1 hour of consultation.
